The Long Revenge

House Cawdor has long been the stronghold of the Cult of The Redemption. Cawdor is full of zealous hivers who worship the Emperor with such fervor they turn that energy into acts of hate and violence in the form of fire. Throughout Hive City you will see signs of House Cawdor and its propaganda. The further down you you venture into the Hive and into Underhive, House Cawdor's power seems to diminish.

In fact, some sectors of Underhive have zero residents claiming House Cawdor and in some settlements they have been driven out by other Houses gangs. The North Badzones has been Cawdor free for nearly twenty years. The last Cawdor gang known in the area was ambushed by three separate factions and left for dead near the Red Wastes. No survivors were known and only one Redemption Crusade has been launched in the area in the years since. There are few who even remember The Revengers gang.

Gang violence and crime in the North Bad zones have been at an all time low in the last two years. Recently, several scavvies have been found bound, butchered and one was even burned alive. None of the local gangs have taken claim for these actions and no Redemption Crusades have been seen in any surrounding Domes.

Three nights ago a local scummer known as Tahara stumbled into a Dog Town bar. He ordered a White Snake and said very calmly: " theres enough creds in my pocket to bury me. Fraggin Cawdor bastards got the best of me down near the junction."  He finished his drink and collapsed from various wounds.

A friend of the scummer later told Enforcers that it was a revenge killing. Tahara was part of the ambush party that wiped out the Revengers nearly 22 years ago. It would appear they were back.
